Edith Siegel Ross

Born in New York she was a lifelong resident of Long Island, living in both Woodmere and Hewlett Harbor. She was an active member of her community serving on the Hewlett Harbor Board of Trustees, The League of Women Voters and the Garden Club. She was a real estate broker for 45 years at Morton M. Haves Real Estate.

An avid gardener, reader, bridge player and theater lover, she was the beloved mother of Nancy Siegel Serafini (Joseph) and Dr. Jane A. Siegel (George Manos). She was married to the late Sheldon Siegel and the late Jerome Ross. She is also survived by grandchildren, John Serafini (Danielle) and Kate Cox (Peter), and her three great grandchildren, Jack, Vivienne and Charles.

She was lovingly cared for by Joan Bailey for several years.

A memorial service will take place on Friday May 10, 2013 at 4:00 P.M. at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 1668 Beacon Street, Brookline, Massachusetts.
