Edward L. Housman

Edward Lawrence Housman, of Newton. Age 96 years, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 24, 2017. For 69 years, he was the beloved husband of Charlotte (Kladky) Housman (z”l). Loving father of Jeanne Housman, Mark Housman & Mona Strick and Judy Allman (z”l). Cherished grandfather of Danny Allman, Amanda Allman & Soulayphet Schwader, Douglas & Anna Housman, Jared Housman, Elizabeth Housman & Jonah Cohen, Sarah Housman & Joseph Grossman and great grandfather of Hannah Grossman, Arielle Grossman, Noah Cohen, Avi Cohen, Ella Cohen, Eli Zimmerman, Sophia Perdomo & Sasha Perdomo.

Services at the Levine Chapels, 470 Harvard St., Brookline on Wednesday, October 25, at 2:30pm. Interment at Adath Israel Cemetery, 350 Grove Street, West Roxbury. Memorial observance at the home of Mark Housman following interment through 9pm and continuing Thursday 2-4pm & 7-9pm with Minyan 7:30pm. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Beth Israel Deaconness Medical Center, or the Disabled American Veterans.
