Edward H Kaplan

Edward Kaplan, age 82, of Framingham, MA, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from ALS, in the comfort of his home with his wife Francine and his son Mark by his side. He was the husband of Francine C. (Gotz) Kaplan, and shared fifty-nine years in marriage.

Ed was a barber and operated his shop in Newton for many years.

Born in Brookline, MA, Edward was the son of the late Dorothy (Goverman) and David Kaplan.

In addition to his wife Francine, Edward is survived by his son Mark Kaplan of Phoenix, AZ.

He was predeceased by his daughter Robin Kaplan, and his sister Anita Sherman.

A service and interment for Edward were held at Puritan Cemetery, 776 Baker Street, West Roxbury, MA. Donation in Edwards memory may be made to www.als.org.
