First we must say, our condolences and our collective thoughts are with Mert during this extremely difficult time as nobody can or will enter a room and make as much of a impact on a life as Eileen had. My name Mark Randall Walker my mother's name is Robin Lynn Walker, and we came to know Mert and Eileen during one of their annual trips to Boynton Beach in 2011. We also were fortunate enough to be introduced to "Doc", Shirley, and Lila. Such kind hearts, but unquestionably honest souls. In my own experience Eileen, Mert, and Lila took me in for a bite to eat and a word of reassurance at a point where my mother's hospitalized. Simply acting as surrogate family when all I had was my mother to keep me focused... I won't ever forget their kindness. With my mother and I making the permanent move to Florida, which has been anything but perfect, we could count on Eileen and Lila to provide advice or just a kick in the butt, that we will get through the hardships they will make us better not bitter. I just wish I knew of the passing sooner, but I thank Joanne for answering my mother's phone call, and letting us know the sad truth that Eileen was a strong, determined woman who had her own share of hurdles but appreciated life for what it was. Eileen, your family as well as Mert will be in our prayers. - Robin and Mark Walker

Mert:  I am so sorry to hear of your great loss.  I remember the great times we had at No. Adams State when our boys were there.  Eileen was a wonderful lady. I'm sorry I hadn't seen her in quite a while, but I will always fondly remember her.

Dear Mert, Joanne, and Jeffrey, So shocked and sad to hear of my dear friend passing away.  She was there for everyone, never complained and tried to show what a trooper she was. Eileen was a wonderful friend to me and even started me off in the world of market research. In her good times she was an outstanding cook and hostess making sure that everyone was well fed and happy. We all know how she adored her family.
