We've never met.  Our family most sorrowfully knows your grieve.  We also lost our 20 year old epileptic daughter to seizures when she had the flu.  She never woke up.   We grieve with you and share pain beyond consolation.  We offer sympathy in the original meaning "sym" (sameness or confluence) and "pathos" (state of being).

My heartfelt condolences to you Lise. I  know God will take care of your grieving heart in this hour and always.

What can I say. A week has passed, and my grief grows by the day. I cannot imagine what you must be experiencing. I pray that we all someday find the strength to carry on. May Eitan's memory forever be a blessing.

We met Eitan and the rest of your family at a Passover seder at our mutual friends, the Shapiros, many years ago.  Recently, my son Josh says that he became friendly with Eitan at camp, and thought very highly of him.  I want you to know how sad Josh, Andy and I are about Eitan's tragic passing, and that we will be thinking about all of you, and missing him, even though we don't know you well.

I managed Eitan the summer of 2012 during his internship at TripAdvisor.  He was a pleasure to work with.  I am very sorry for your loss.

Eitan touched all those around him, from his family to his friends, teachers and TA's, and anyone else who crossed his path. He was truly an extraordinary man and will forever be missed and will live on in our hearts.

I have many fond memories of working with Eitan at Terrascope Youth Radio-- from his first piece on Green Streets, to chaperoning him to a Youth Radio Conference in Oregon, and many wonderful features.  He was an excellent producer, and wonderful young man.  I am fortunate to have known and worked with him.  He will be greatly missed.  You, his family, are in my heart.

Hamakom Yenakhem Etkhem... I remember Eitan's time at Kesher with gladness, and join our families and Eitan's Kesher teachers in saying that our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I am so sorry about your loss. My son Michael had a class with Eitan at the University of Miami and they did a project together.  Michael also lived in the same dorm as Eitan.  I know there are no words I can say to help comfort your family I just only wanted you to know that your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

In his four years at MIT/Terrascope Youth Radio, Eitan was a joy. He was intelligent, creative, and witty. We had wonderful conversations. He was committed to his faith. Jeff, Lise, and family I'm more sorry than I can say. I will always think of Eitan with great fondness.

I always liked seeing Eitan at Camp Avoda. He was a very kind young man loved by many.

So saddened by your loss. It was a privilege having Eitan at Camp Avoda. Always polite and respectful towards camp staff and fellow campers.As a camp nurse I will not forget him.

Eitan was a wonderful young man, he was of great help to me during my two years as a Camp Avoda nurse. A very special person, respectful, helpful, and he had a great way with the younger boys. I could always count on him to come up in the evening and help me wrap up from evening meds with the campers. My hearts go out to all his friends,all his fellow Avoda Alumni, and of course his family. All my prayers for all of you and Eitan.
