Elaine Marilyn Gabriel (Ross), aged 80, of Newton, passed away peacefully at home on April 23rd, 2024, after an unbelievably courageous nine month battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving and devoted husband and children.
Elaine was a dental hygienist for 40 years and worked for Weight Watchers for 20 years. She lived life to the fullest. She is loved and adored by many. Beloved daughter of the late Ted and Lil Ross. She is survived by devoted husband of 59 years, Hal Gabriel, loving mother to Adam Gabriel (Stacey Gabriel), Sharon Yoke (Jeff Yoke), precious grandmother to Alex, Sage, Jordan and Zachary. Beloved sister of Debbie Ross.
A graveside funeral will be held at 11:00 am on April 26, 2024 at Beth El Cemetery, 776 Baker Street, West Roxbury, MA.
A celebration of Elaine's life will take place on Sunday, April 28, at the family home from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
