Elaine Radis

Elaine Rothstein Radis, 88, of Framingham, passed peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on April 24, 2022. Elaine was born July 20, 1933, the daughter of the late Max Rothstein and Sonia Cohen Rothstein in Philadelphia, PA. She was predeceased by her husband of more than 40 years Morton Radis. She is survived by her children Ellen Radis, Tim and Lois MacDonald of Framingham and Howard and Mara Radis of Gaithersburg, MD. Her grandchildren Sara and Tim, Molly and Marc, Emma and Tyler, Skyler and Audra, and Mason, and her great granddaughter Sadie Mac.

Elaine graduated from Penn State University in 1952 with the desire to be an educator. She realized that dream and worked for nearly twenty years as a teacher in the Framingham school system, mostly at Potter Road Elementary School as a first grade teacher, influencing hundreds of children.

Elaine AKA Techno Bubby, Gaga and Gma was happiest when surrounded by family. To all her nieces, nephews and cousins she was always Aunt Elaine. She was the honorary matriarch and soul of the entire family. She had friendships that spanned decades and miles, traveling the country and the world well into her retirement.
