Eleanor Schachter, age 89, of Brighton, formerly of Danbury, CT and Jackson Heights, Queens, NY, died on Saturday, October 7, 2017. Beloved daughter of the late Moses & Esther Fierstein Schachter. Cherished sister of Dorothy Blaine. Loving aunt of Jerry Blaine, Peter Blaine, Tal Shechter, Tsippi Orovitz, and Rachel Sery. Great-aunt to 6 girls and 7 boys; and great, great-aunt to several girls and boys.
Funeral services and shiva are private. A memorial service is being planned for a later date.
