Elinor Reinherz Persky

Elinor (Reinherz) Persky, of Newton on Tuesday, July 2, 2013. An adventurer, a world traveler who lovingly enjoyed music, art history, literature, and most importantly family, friendship and life. The beloved and loving daughter of the late Harry and Edythe Reinherz, wife of Alan, mother of Michael and his wife Kim, Jonathan and the late Laurence, the adored grandmother of Jana, Eric, Kyla and Kevin. A memorial service will be held at the Levine Chapels, 470 Harvard St., Brookline on Sunday, July 7 at 2:00pm. Following the service, the family will receive visitors at her late residence on Sunday from 4-8 pm, and Monday 1-3 pm and 5-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Dr. Richard M. Stone Adult Leukemia Program at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute 450 Brookline Avenue, D 2053 Boston, MA 02215, or to the Laurence S. Persky Memorial Fund, by making a donation to Milton Academy, 170 Centre Street Milton, MA 02186 with the fund designated in the memo line.
