Born in Moscow, Russia, she was the daughter of the late Boris Novikov and Anna Mizrakh. She graduated from Moscow State University with a doctoral degree in Biology & Physiology and worked as a Senior Research Scientist at Moscow Institute of Cardiology.
Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband, Felix Meschansky, her devoted daughter Anna Meschansky and her husband, Gerry Sverdlin; and her cherished grandson, Yori Sverdlin.
A funeral service for Elizaveta will be held on Thursday, October 11, at 10:30 am at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 1668 Beacon St., Brookline, MA, with burial to follow at Puritan Cemetery, 776 Baker St., W Roxbury, MA.
