

Corman, Elliot of Brookline, formerly of Marblehead. Entered into rest on January 16, 2013 at the age of 82. Elliot was a graduate of Boston Latin School, class of 1947. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Harvard in 1951 and later his Masters in Business Administration from Cornell Business School in 1953. Mr. Corman served his country in the United States Army. Elliot devoted much of his time as a supporter and board member for the Jewish Federation of the North Shore as well as the Robert I. Lappin Charitable Foundation. He was an active member of Temple Emanu-El of Marblehead. Elliot was also the President of American Bag and Burlap Company. He was the dear son of the late Samuel and Lillian (Rosen) Corman. Beloved husband of Devora (Levine) Corman. Devoted father of Marjorie Corman Aaron & her husband David Howard Aaron of Cincinnati, OH; Barry Lee Corman of Newburyport, MA; Julie Ellen Corman of Brookline; Elizabeth Ann Corman of NY. Loving brother of Charlotte Fletcher of NY. Cherished grandfather of Joshua Samuel Aaron, Elisha Meir Aaron, Benjamin Samuel Corman, Amy Elizabeth Corman and Samantha Claire Li Min Corman. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at 10:00am at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 1668 Beacon St, BROOKLINE. Burial will follow at Chevra Kadisha of Chelsea, 19 Washington Street, Woburn. Memorial observance will be held immediately following interment at the home of Julie Corman from (1pm-3pm), on Monday from 6pm-8pm and Tuesday from 1pm-3pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, Grand Central Station, P.O.
