Born in Boston, Massachusetts, he was the beloved son of the late David L. & Anita (Sadovitz) Portman. He was the devoted brother of Dr. Steven M. Portman & his wife Dr. Diane G. Portman of Lakewood Ranch, FL; and Robin B. Portman of Boston. He is also survived by many friends and relatives.
Funeral services will take place Wednesday October 26, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 1668 Beacon St. BROOKLINE. Interment to follow at Workmans Circle Cemetery, 776 Baker Street, West Roxbury, MA.
Eric worked for many years as an Office Manager. He was an avid sports fan and was known for his phenomenal memory.
Memorial Observance will be held following funeral services until 4:00 PM at the home of Robin B. Portman.
