Estelle Davids

Estelle Davids, 95, of Natick, MA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 21, 2023, with family by her side. Born in Brooklyn, NY in 1928, she was one of 2 daughters of Samuel and Fania Krassin. She was the loving wife of the late Jeff Davids, with whom she shared 72 years of marriage and the devoted Mother of Glenn Davids and his wife, Judy, of Swampscott, MA, Ron Davids and his wife, Nancy, of Barrington, Rhode Island, and Amy Vesely and her husband, Liam, of Sudbury, MA. Cherished grandmother of Matt (and Jennifer), Jon (and Sara), Abby Davids Rocha (and Dio), Pete, Torie, Tommy Vesely, and Gillian Vesely; and treasured great-grandmother of two.

Estelle lived a fascinating life, moving with Jeff from New York to Massachusetts in her twenties with baby, Glenn. She spent many years as a stay-at-home Mom. When the kids got a little older she worked for a while taking telephone surveys and working in a clothing store. Finally her true business acumen came out when she joined Jeff at the Cameo Agency. There she founded and was Director of the Workshop for Television and Modeling, creating over a few short years a school with a national reputation for excellence and results. Many of today’s working actors and actresses got their start at The Workshop, the Cameo Agency, or both.

Despite her varied life, her most precious passion was her family. A truer love story has never been written. And her intense love of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren was the underpinning of everything she did in life. She was also a wonderful cook.

After she and Jeff retired in 1995 they enjoyed winters in Florida and traveling the world with old and dear friends.

Private graveside services for the family will be held on Wednesday September 27, 2023, followed in the afternoon by a Shiva, for all, at Amy’s house from 2 pm until 7 pm. For information about the Shiva please write to [email protected].
