Freda Schwartz Wagner

Freda (Schwartz) Wagner, age 100 on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, of Brighton, formerly of Tamarac, Florida and West Babylon, New York. Devoted wife of the late Abe. Loving mother of Candy Gould & her husband David and Roberta Shur who predeceased her.

Cherished grandmother of Alex (Darcy), Jeff (Susannah) and Dan Gould, Randy Shur (Yvonne) and Renae Coraci. She was also the great grandmother of Tylee and Kaden Gould, Miranda and Ryan Coraci and Steven, Rachel and Melissa Shur. In addition she was also the great great grandmother of 5.

Freda was one of 4 children raised in Lindenhurst, NY. She was a resilient and strong woman who overcame many tragedies in her life but managed to make the very best of any situation. She enjoyed both her children and grandchildren at family gatherings and holidays after her move to Boston from Florida. She will be missed.

Services were held in Florida. Memorial observance at the home of Candy and David Gould, Charles River Landing, 300 2nd Avenue, Needham, on Tuesday, July 25, 6-9 pm. Remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society, or Good Shepherd Community Care Hospice, 90 Wells Ave. Newton, MA 02459.
