July 2, 2019
I ran out of space apparently. Not much more to add except that
I take credit for Fred's love of clocks!
Several more meetings this century, and nice to see Fred so
contented with Judith. He was not meant to be a bachelor.
Finally, the lesson of my long friendship with Fred is that political
differences, and we had them, should never get in the way of
mutual enjoyment of each others' company and shared interests.
Good bye Fred, Simon.
