George Belsky

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George Belsky of Brighton MA. He was born on June 24th, 1928, in Kiev, Ukraine to the late Yefim and Olga Belsky. He spent his childhood and youth in his beloved Kiev. Throughout his life, one of his favorite activities was fishing in the Dnieper River. At university, he met Maria Klein who would become his wife. George and Maria spent more than six decades together and raised their beloved son, Vladimir. George received a doctorate in engineering and worked in Moscow for many years before immigrating to Boston after his retirement. He was happy and grateful to be able to spend his last 27 years of his life close to his son, daughter in law, and granddaughter.

He is predeceased by his parents, his wife Maria Belsky, and his son Vladimir Belsky. He is survived by his daughter-in-law Irene Belsky, his granddaughter Natalie Belsky Denzler and her husband Chris Denzler, and his great-granddaughter Vivien Belsky Denzler.
