To the Small family,
I had the great honor and distinct pleasure of serving with George on the Board of Directors of New England Sinai Hospital. He welcomed me to the group with a genuine level of kindness and always saw the glass as half full. George cared about people and really went out of his way to help others. I always enjoyed siting next to him because his humor was second to none. Please accept my condolences on the loss of a great man and I will keep your family in my prayers.
Sincerely,
Ed Doherty

My deepest condolences to all of you for your loss. I had the privilege of working with George for almost 30 years. Whether we spoke about business or our personal lives one could always count on his warmth, kindness and insight. He spoke of all of you often and seeing you today as adults made me recall the joy he always had when speaking of you. I wish you all comfort as you grieve and know the memories of George will comfort you and all of us who knew him.

All my best,

Cliff
