Gerald R. Ramin, age 93, formerly of Brookline and Centerville, died at his home in Boston on Thursday April 6, 2023 surrounded by family.
He was married happily for 68 years to Elsa (Kahn) and is survived by his three sons; Bruce (Tila), Jonathan (Denice), and Laurence (Sue) and grandchildren; George, Daniel, Lily (Noah Hall), Lisa and Irina.
He was a graduate of Colby College and the owner of several restaurants in the Boston area and on Cape Cod. In retirement he enjoyed studying and teaching at the Harvard Institute of Learning in Retirement. He loved all animals and rescued many. He enjoyed nothing more than good dinners and wine with his family and friends. He was well traveled and much loved for his charisma and joie de vivre.
There will be no service but there will be a memorial gathering at a date to be announced.
