Born in Boston, he was a son of the late Max and Frances (Rubinovich) Ruby.
Mr. Ruby was a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service for many years before he retired.
He is survived by his nephews Mark Ruby of Boston and Steven Ruby and his wife Gail of Delray Beach, Florida; loving niece and nephews.
A private graveside service was held at Sharon Memorial Park.
