

Dr. Gilbert R. Fisch, formerly of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, West Newton Hill, MA and New Seabury, MA, passed away on October 1, 2026, in West Palm Beach, FL, after a short illness.
Gilbert is predeceased by his late parents, Philip and Pearl (Eisenberg) Fisch, brothers Perry Fisch and Norman Fisch, and son Robert Fisch.
For 68 years, the devoted husband of Marcia (Andelman) Fisch. Loving father to Paul Fisch (Deborah), Michael Fisch (Sudeshna), Steven Fisch (Rachel), and daughter-in-law Celia Fisch.
Beloved Grandpa Gil of Alitza, Max, Vijay, Rina, Zachary, Lauren, and Jacob. Cherished uncle to Matthew, Noah, Debbie, Larry, Barry, and Phil.
Gilbert attended Purdue University, Rutgers University, and received his M.D. from Boston University School of Medicine. He was a Captain in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1963, serving as Chief of Pediatrics at Fort Rucker Army Hospital, Fort Rucker, Alabama. Gilbert was a beloved pediatrician serving as a founder and managing partner of Holliston Pediatric Group, Holliston, MA, from 1963 to his retirement in 1997. He had several Boston area hospital affiliations. Gilbert served as an Associate Clinical Professor at Boston University School of Medicine, 1983 through 1997.
Gilbert loved playing tennis. He played into his 80s, winning several championships on the courts in New Seabury, MA. He and Marcia enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. He was fiercely proud of his family; his greatest pleasure was watching them grow and sharing milestones.
A funeral service will be held at Temple Beth Avodah, 45 Puddingstone Lane, Newton, MA, on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at 12:00 PM and will be joinable via livestream at https://www.levinelive.com/gilbertfisch
Burial to follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon, MA.
A celebration of Gil’s life will be held at Temple Beth Avodah, following the services from 4:30 PM until 7:30 PM.
