Gloria (Hurwitz) Kohn

Gloria Cohen Kohn of Newton (née Hurwitz ) passed away on December 26, 2021. Gloria was predeceased by her husbands Melvin A. Cohen and Lester J. Kohn. Gloria is survived by her daughter Amy Gerson and son-in-law Louis Grossman, son Martin D. Cohen and daughter-in-law Jan Stager Cohen, grandchildren Meredith, Ken and Maggie. Gloria leaves her longtime companion Joseph Slavit and her wonderful “280 Sisterhood".

Gloria graduated from Mount Ida College. She had an exceptional eye for fashion and design. Gloria was high spirited, adventurous and an enthusiastic world traveler.

A private funeral was held.
