I don't know if this message will get to Hannah's family since it has been a while since her passing, but I just want to let them know that I think of her all the time. I wish, wish, wish I had been more in touch with her in the years since we were briefly at Penn together. It was a time of a lot of change in my life, and Hannah was a steadfast, true loving friend. I recently was thinking about how I'd like to be better at reaching out to old friends -- not just casual, fun friends but those rare TRUE thoughtful, inspirational people who encourage greatness in others -- and of course Hannah was one of the first people I thought of. I miss her so much and her light continues to shine through her good influence. I would love if you could confirm receipt of this message, and then maybe we could share more stories of the amazing person Hannah was. One word to describe Channah is Radiant. She radiated kindness. She radiated intellectual curiosity, good ideas, and inspiration. She stands out as a dear friend during my brief time at Penn. Channah made that short time so much more special. 

We will mourn her loss. As Channah's brother shared in the funeral service, we carry forth a loved one's memory by adopting their best attributes. Channah, you have big shoes to fill, but you will continue to inspire me toward goodness. I will miss you.

From the first time I spoke with Hannah, I was immediately struck by her intelligence and drive. Hannah’s energy and creativity is something that lives on as an inspiration to me and many others who knew her.

I still cannot seem to square how the depth of Hannah’s pain with how we all saw her move through this world with kindness and grace. Hannah spent so much time with me on the phone or in person while working at Think together. During those moments, time stood still- you knew in your soul Hannah was completely present and without judgment. 

Before our time at Think, we crossed paths at GA making our pivot to UX. I didn’t get to work with Hannah there, however she absolutely shined as a force in this brand new field. We connected a bit after a networking event walking to the red line. 

Fast forward to our time at Think, we became friends and I couldn’t believe I captured this moment of her singing karaoke.

I was fortunate to be randomly seated next to Hannah during my first day at the office during a Winter meeting in 2021. It was a day that I felt overwhelmed because I knew no one yet at the company. Being ever observant and empathic, Hannah noticed this immediately and went out of her way to introduce herself and make me feel warm and welcomed. We soon found out she grew up in my hometown of Lower Merion, and our friendship blossomed from there. 

Reading everyone's beautiful messages and memories shows that Hannah was the definition of authentic. She spoke to people from a perspective of genuine interest and caring. I cherish the memories of our quarterly coffee conversations that would often go deep into the works of Daniel Kahneman. Her way of deep thinking always made me come away from conversations refreshed and with a brand new take on things. Hannah, you will be deeply missed, but I'm so grateful our paths crossed, and I sat at desk 32 that day. 

I was Hannah’s UX mentee and last contacted her on Feb 8, 2023. We spoke almost every month during 2022 until last month. She helped me by listening and giving advice while I transitioned into my 2nd UX role in Philly. We talked about work, hobbies, and music. I will miss her very much. She will be in my heart forever.

I wish we could still talk. I loved our time catching up on life events in two different cities and UX jobs.

As jewish geography would have it, Hannah and I clicked off the bat. When we first met, we quickly realized just how many paths we had that paralleled and it was a wonder that it had not crossed until she started working at Think. It wasn't just our shared connections but our shared view of culture, religion and design that truly brought us together and kept us connected. 

Hannah's deep thinking, empathy and humility is unmatched. In every way, she catalyzed moments to make people think, to dig deeper and to question everything. I'm forever grateful to have learned from Hannah's way of thinking and will always cherish the work we did together. Hannah will always be a treasure.

I had the honor of meeting Hannah during a huge moment in both of our lives, taking a risk in pursuing our passion in UX. She was one of the best designers in our class. I admired her intelligence, diligence, and sense of humor. Her presence warmed up any room she was in. After every conversation with Hannah I felt understood and heard. She truly was beautiful inside and out. In places Hannah left her mark, she left it a better place and the world is at a huge loss without her. Hannah, I am sorry I couldn't be one of the communities you sought out for help. Even if it was for a short time, I am grateful for the mark you have left in my life. I hope to have your light and memory live on in this world by showing the same warmth you've shown me to others in my life. 

Hannah.. we've only known each other for two years, but you have helped me and inspired me in so many ways—your reaching out to me via the Penn network to chat about UX, being the glue that brought people together, and, when we ended up at the same company, always making sure to catch up whenever we both were in Philly for work.

I told you on a "wooder-ice" break one time that I really admired your openness and candor. I asked you if you were ever afraid that you might be pushing the boundary sometimes—as that is a struggle of mine, whether I am sharing too much or saying too little. We talked about having good intentions and trusting in others. We talked about our goals and frustrations—and all the while I was frantically trying to save my cup of melting custard and water ice, but you just let yours dribble all over your hands. You brought so much focus, intention, and thoughtfulness to our conversations, and while I did laugh at you as you were trying to (ungracefully) eat your now completely liquid dessert, those became additional qualities that I admired in you and strove to improve in myself. 

I've cherished (and will continue to cherish) our conversations and interactions, and I remember thinking multiple times that wow, she *is* truly unafraid and so driven, and she will achieve many things in life..... and ohhh it is a tremendous loss. I pray for everyone here.. for those who were closer to Hannah.. for her family.. for Hannah. We will miss you so so much.

I’ve just seen this news and am in shock. I knew Hannah first as a student, then as a friend. She was always a comforting presence with wise and thoughtful words when we would speak after classes or later, via video and phone. Hannah was a brightly shining light, and she will be missed. My deepest condolences to her family and friends. 

In the Spring of 2019 Hannah embarked upon a career change and joined the General Assembly UX Design Immersive program. I had the honor of being her instructor.  Hannah was a terrific student, a talented designer, and an even better human. She built wonderful friendships and connections with her cohort (pictured above). 

I was impressed by her casual erudition and intellectual curiosity. I admired her grace and compassion in everyday life. Hannah was delightful to be around.

We stayed in touch and I followed her career growth. When we spoke it would start with her asking me for advice, yet inevitably by the end of the conversation I was one who come away refreshed and enlightened. She just had a certain effect. Hannah brought light to every room she entered and richness to every life she touched.  

My heart hurts. I will miss her dearly.

I'd like to send my deepest condolences to Hannah's parents, her husband Seon, and her entire family.

When I think about Hannah, what comes to mind first is how generously she shared her time, attention, and energy with people—even in brief interactions. She had a depth and a kindness that just radiated. This is a rare and special quality. She left an impression on so many and will be missed. 

My whole heart is with, and extended to, Hannah's family and friends navigating this very specific grief. 

I had the privilege of working with Hannah over the past couple of years and want to share one memory that really stands out that I hope speaks to Hannah's spirit:

One day, Hannah reached out to me, inspired after one of our team brainstorms, around a project she was starting to mull over.  She asked to hop on a call and walk through it with me and get my thoughts on her approach -- here I am thinking she might have some initial thoughts to share or wanted to just toss around some ideas for some feedback, but when she showed me what she had been working on, I was floored. 

I was floored by the way her mind worked through the problem. At her depth of thinking. At her ability to view a subject from all possible and, seemingly impossible, angles. At her natural inclination to be inquisitive about subjects others would have overlooked. But most of all, I was astounded with her passion and compassion at every turn. 

She had come to me looking for my feedback, but I was the one that left that conversation feeling I had learned, and gained, something ten-fold. 

It's evident Hannah's genuine curiosity and empathy has left a deep, ineffable impact to those who have had the privilege of knowing her. She is, and will continue to be, so missed.



Hannah, I am completely at a loss for words.

You were one of the first friends I made at Think. There was an energy about you that radiated into the world. Your kindness, love, and friendliness were truly unmatched. Talking to you about life and work was always such a joy. Our regularly scheduled hang outs with you and Nick was always something I looked forward to because I always felt like I could be myself around you both. I deeply valued your love and care for others. You were always in search of something new and supportive to uplift other people. I valued your trust in confiding in me when things were hard. The time you and Seon came to Chicago to hang out was amazing, and I deeply treasured your intentionality in seeing Matt and me when you were here. I wish we could have done that again in the future. 

I am going to miss you when I need someone to talk to about work or life. I wish we had more time together. I will miss you so, so much. Rest easy, my dear friend ❤️ 

In the time I had the fortune of knowing Hannah, she exuded warmth, kindness and passion. Her intention on creating genuine community wherever she was made her company a true delight. I always looked forward to our conversations and  rarely walked away without a useful life hack or an uplifting thought.

My thoughts are with Hannah's family and friends during this heartbreaking time. 

Over the year that I got to know Hannah, we had many opportunities to connect. At our regular meetings we discussed work sometimes, but often we discussed other meaningful topics like how and where we find inspiration. Hannah was a deep thinker about many things, but especially the things that mattered. It was apparent to me soon after working with her that she had that compassion and interest in the people around her which make an excellent teammate and a wonderful person. Hannah will be missed dearly.

Hannah had such a welcoming and warmness to her, no one ever felt like an outsider with her around. She was truly one of a kind, compassionate and thoughtful to her very core. 

My deepest condolences to Hannah's husband and family. Thank you for bringing such a radiant light into this world. I am grateful to have had the chance to share conversation and laughs with her, if only briefly. 

I had the pleasure of meeting Hannah when I joined Think Company last summer. Our first conversation turned into a weekly standing meeting we named the "energy jolt." I am grateful for the time I spent with Hannah, getting to know her, and having open conversations about work and life. These moments will be forever in my memory. 

I will deeply miss Hannah and I send my condolences to all the people touched by her bright and most beautiful light. 

Every conversation with Hannah felt as though I'd stumbled upon a soul with such a richness and depth that I knew I would walk away transformed somehow.  I was just a coworker, but she made you feel like a longtime friend.

Maybe I'd walk away a little wiser, from some wisdom she shared that I didn't know I needed until she said it. Maybe I'd feel lighter, after a shared laugh. Brighter, from the deep thoughts on just about anything she was exploring at that time.

But always better, for having spent some time with her. A soul as rich as hers could only leave you enriched as well.

I'm going to deeply miss Hannah. Her smile was so kind, and I distinctly remember how lit up it was when singing Karaoke during a work event. That memory makes me happy.

I had the pleasure of mentoring Hannah prior to joining our team, and I was so blown away with how personable and kind she was. "Hannah-Iguana" was truly one of a kind. I'll never forget the moment during one of the mentorship sessions that I paused and asked her... "hey, would you mind if we shifted gears and I interviewed you right now?" ... the rest is history.

We will really miss you, Hannah. So glad we were able to have you as a co-worker, and friend. 💙

We only knew each other for a short time, but I am so grateful for all the conversations we had about work, hobbies, music, and life. Hannah was an amazing person who was talented and passionate about so many things, but it was her commitment to creating a sense of community wherever she went that I will always remember about her.

I would like to share my deepest condolences to Seon and Hannah's family during this sad time. 

There are so many things that I could say about how incredible of a person Hannah was. I'm grateful for the time I got to spend with her, and I want the people she loves to know how much of an impact she has had on me in the relatively short time that I've known her.  

Thank you so much for being my friend, Hannah. 

Hannah was a beautiful soul.  Generous, interested in others, self-aware.  Her death is a huge blow and colossal loss.  May her memory be for a blessing and radiate as love among her family and friends.

I just heard the news and am in total shock. I worked closely with Hannah on a project when she had first started at Think Company and she was easily one of the brightest and most positive people I had ever met. She had this unlimited surplus of enthusiasm and ambition and getting to work so closely with her made me a significantly better designer and person. I remember having long, deep conversations with her any time she came to Philly for a Think event, never wanting them to end. I can't even imagine the void she left behind with people she was closer with. Truly heartbreaking. 

I had so many beautiful conversations with Hannah over the past year or so. Her intelligence, wit, and passion was impossible to miss. I only knew her for a short time, but from the start it was clear she was a special human being. It is hard to imagine this world without her. Hannah, you will be forever remembered and forever missed. We are all lucky to have known you.

While I only knew Hannah for a short time while she worked at Think Company, I will always remember her thoughtfulness. We connected a few times to share ideas and talk about our experiences with Outward Bound. She would reach out soon after with a note of why she appreciated the conversation. It was a special touch that I will always admire.

May you all find peace in your memories of Hannah.

Hannah Dardashti. I love Hannah with all of my heart. I will miss her always. Her sensitivity, humor, intelligence, wit- I found in her a fellow, sacred human who was also finding her way in life with such care and appreciation.  I admired her for her devotion to faith and family, and I also admired her for her incredible intelligence and skill as a designer.  Her curiosity, empathy and respect for life and everyone living it will always stay with me.  I am heartbroken.

Hannah was truly the best of us. Her light was radiant, and I was blessed to have felt it. Hannah infused joy, genuine caring and thoughtfulness, creativity, and passion into everything she touched.  Magical Dream Team forever ❤️

Hannah was, and still is, such a beautiful spirit. She and I worked together, but quickly became friends. Discussing life, work, and our passion for helping people and making things better from our perch in life. She was always so helpful, and thoughtful, and I appreciated the times we got to work together, and connect in general. This news hurts, but I'm grateful for the time that I had with Hannah, and the fact that even in our limited time knowing each other as coworkers, we became friends and were able to bring even a moment of joy, appreciation, and inspiration in each other's lives. Hannah, your light in this world will be missed. My deepest sympathies to her family, and anyone who knew her. She will be sorely missed.

Hannah gave me this rock a couple of years ago. I kept it next to my bed although I didn’t understand why or fully understand its meaning. When I heard this sad news, I picked it up and held it. I now believe that this is a message to all that love her to help understand, grieve and heal.  She was so special. In our relationship she taught me many things. I consider it a blessing to have known her. 

Hannah our darling Hannah. I only ever knew your smile. From the early days as a giggly child crawling under the dining table to the grinning beauty at your wedding. I cannot bear to think you ever suffered so much to leave us. Our king standing meme about shabbat chocolate lives on but I more can we share such jokes together. The world is a far darker place without you. I hope god has big plans for you in another realm. Your light on earth will be sorely missed.
