Harriet Nancy Weinfield

Harriet Nancy Weinfield passed away on June 22, 2026, quietly in her sleep. She was 88.

Harriet was an avid reader, teacher, world traveler, and boater. She gave endless love to her family starting in 1959 when she married Ronnie who passed in 2013. Harriet passed on what would have been their 68th wedding anniversary. Harriet graduated from Tufts University in 1959 and was a President and lifelong member of the Jackson College Association of Tufts Alumnae for more than 50 years. Ronnie and Harriet were lifelong members and one of the founding families of Temple Emeth. Her boundless love, warmth, and vibrant enthusiasm extended throughout the lives of her children Neal and Brenda, their spouses Mardah and Bill, her grandchildren Daniel (Carrie), Zachary, William, Chloe and Samuel; her sister Roberta, and to all the family and friends whose lives she touched.

A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, June 24, at 9:30am at Levine Chapels, 470 Harvard Street, Brookline, MA. The service will be available via livestream at the following link: https://www.levinelive.com/harrietweinfield

Burial will follow at Temple Emeth Memorial Park, 776 Baker Street, West Roxbury, MA.

Shiva will follow the service on Wednesday at 12:00pm and Thursday from 3:00-7:00pm at North Hill, a premier Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), located at 865 Central Ave, Needham, MA.
