Helene Rabb Cahners-Kaplan, age 92, of Naples, FL, formerly of Boston, on Saturday, November 3, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Norman L. Cahners and George I. Kaplan. Devoted mother of Robert M. Cahners & his wife Pamela of Naples, FL, Nancy L. Cahners & her husband Arthur Hindman of Brookline and the late Andrew P. Cahners. Fond stepmother of Ellen Kardon and the late Peter Kaplan & his surviving wife Sally. Loving grandmother of Jared, Kimberly, Phillip, Rachel, Daniel, Lauren, Benjamin, Nathaniel, Sarah, Elizabeth, Alec, Ted, Emily and Benjamin. Great grandmother of Grace, Maxwell, Megan and Katelyn. Dear sister of Carol Goldberg & her husband Avram of Boston, Walter Cahners & his wife Sue of FL. Fond aunt of Deborah Goldberg, Joshua Goldberg, Amy Cahners, Catherine Cahners and several other nieces and nephews.

Services at Temple Emanuel, 385 Ward Street, Newton on Friday, November 9 at 10:00am. Interment at Adath Jeshurun Cemetery, Grove Street, West Roxbury. Following the interment, family and friends are welcome to return to Temple Emanuel for the meal of consolation through 3:00pm.
