Henry T. Fischer

Henry T Fischer, 87, of Weston MA, formerly of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and Larchmont, NY passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2019. He was the husband of the late Corinne (David) Fischer with whom he shared 34 years of marriage until she passed in 1994. Born in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, Henry was the son of the late Max and Lena (Kiefer) Fischer.

Henry earned his Bachelor’s degree from City College of New York and his Master’s degree from New York University. He loved spending time with his family. He had a passion and talent for his profession: elementary school teacher in Larchmont. He enjoyed playing and watching sports, socializing with friends, watching and directing musicals in the classroom, playing bridge, and traveling.

Those left to cherish Henry’s memory are his four devoted children: Robert and his wife Marlene of Fairfield CT, Bruce Fischer of Rumford RI, Karen Fischer of Newton MA, and Bradley Fischer and his wife Keri of Mamaroneck NY; and his treasured grandchildren: Daniel Fischer and his wife Brittany, Lauren Fischer, Sara Fischer and James Fischer.

A graveside service for Henry will take place on Wednesday, September 18 at 2:00 PM at Sharon Gardens Cemetery, 273 Lakeview Ave, Valhalla, NY. Shiva will be observed on Wednesday, September 18, from 6:00- 9:00 PM, continuing on Thursday, September 19 from 1:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-9:00 PM at the Fischer home in Mamaroneck.
