
Jack D. Dreyfus of Dedham, formerly of Chestnut Hill, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the age of 97. He was born on May 16, 1928, in Boston, MA, where he was also raised. A dedicated professional, Jack spent his career as a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (CHFC), guiding others with his expertise until his retirement.
Jack had a zest for life and a wide range of interests. He enjoyed playing tennis, building model airplanes and boats, playing bridge, traveling, and mentoring young entrepreneurs through his volunteer work with the Small Business Administration.
He was predeceased by his beloved parents, Lena and Barney Dreyfus.
Jack is survived by his devoted wife of 77 years, Rosalyn Dreyfus; his loving daughters, Sherry Shulman (Robert) and Gail Maker; his cherished grandchildren, Jenny and Andy Robberson, and David Shulman; and his adored great-grandchildren, Lily and June Robberson.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon, on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 10:45 a.m. Shiva will follow at Newbridge on the Charles from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m.
