Jack D. Porter, age 92, of Wayland, formerly of Newton and St. Louis, on Friday, April 6, 2012. For 62 years the beloved husband of the late Rose “Rae” Porter (Siagel). Devoted and loving father of Stephen Porter & his wife Pamela Kellogg, Ellen Porter & Robert Fireman and Lynne Salzman & her husband Warren. Cherished and adored grandfather of Andrea and Jonathan Salzman, Zachary and Samuel Porter. Dear brother of the late Betty Moss and Ada Goldwasser

Loving uncle to his many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Services at Levine Chapels, 470 Harvard St., Brookline, on Monday, April 9 at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at Sharon Memorial Park, Sharon. The family will receive visitors at the home of Lynne & Warren Salzman following the burial through 8 pm and continuing Tuesday & Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm.
