Jeanette Ruth Rubinow Kay

Jeanette Ruth Kay (Rubinow) on Friday, June 23, 2017 of Dedham, formerly of Newton, MA and Potomac, MD. Veteran of the U.S. Navy, WAVES, World War II. Former President, Sisterhood, Congregation Beth El of Bethesda, MD. Passed peacefully at the age of 97, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Joseph George Kay, devoted mother of Steven (Lindasue) Kay, Fredie Kay, and Lawrence Kay (Bruna Coen); cherished grandmother of Rebecca (Eric), Shoshana (Emmet), Samantha, Taylor, Samuel (Giorgia), Miriam and Eleanor. Also survived by four great-grandchildren, Shalom Yosef, Elisheva, Rachelli and Bayla-Rivka; loving aunt and great aunt to numerous nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and nephews. Jeanette is pre-deceased by loving sister Sylvia Sawyer, and loving brother Gerald Milton.

Funeral services were held on Monday, June 26, 2017 in Bethesda, Maryland.

Memorial observance will be at the home of Fredie Kay on Thursday, June 29 from 3-9:00pm and Friday, June 30 from 2-5:00pm.
