Jeff Davids, 93, of Natick, MA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 20, 2021, with his family by his side. Born in Brooklyn, NY in 1928, he was one of 4 sons and a daughter born to Abraham and Dora Davidowitz. Loving husband of Estelle (Krassin) Davids, with whom he shared 72 years of marriage. Devoted father of Glenn Davids and his wife, Judy, of Swampscott, Ron Davids and his wife, Nancy of Boston, and Amy Vesely and her husband, Liam, of Sudbury. Cherished grandfather of Matt, Jon, Abby, Pete, Torie, Tommy Vesely, and Gillian Vesely; and treasured great-grandfather of two.
Jeff had a truly eclectic working life, moving from New York to Massachusetts in his twenties to found a storm window company with a few friends, moving on to work at an advertising agency in Boston, as a salesman for Ziv Syndicated Television, working for Romper Room and WBCN in Boston, and finally as founder of Cameo Modeling Agency, which he owned and operated with Estelle for many years. In between and among all of these were other fascinating jobs and projects.
But work for Jeff was only the background to his true love: his family. He was a kind, funny, wise, formidable man who leaves an unfillable gap in so many hearts.
After he and Estelle retired in 1995, they enjoyed winters in Florida and traveling the world with old and dear friends.
