

She graduated from Macalester College and Tufts Schools of Nutrition Science and Policy for graduate school.
Jennie was the beloved wife of Aric Egmont. She is survived by her parents, her daughters, Orea Bass-Egmont and Mia Bass-Egmont, her sister, Naomi Bass Grace, brother-in-law, Ben and their children. Jennie's greatest pride came from her role as a mother.
She passed along a love of family time, creative projects, nature, and learning. She exhibited a selfless patience with not only her girls but cousins and friends' children as well. Jennie enjoyed loving and meaningful relationships throughout her life.
She was a devoted wife, daughter, sister, and friend. Jennie lived a life of adventure and fun, traveling much of the world. Jennie never lost her love for the places she lived, Colorado, Minnesota, Chile, and Scotland. She was a creative and talented cook.
She had a natural and deeply held sense of justice that guided her career in non-profits, including work at women's health clinics, a refugee resettlement agency, and an anti-hunger organization.
Friends and family are welcome to attend the Memorial Service on Wednesday, August 29 at Levine Chapels, 470 Harvard Street, Brookline, at 2PM.
