To Julia's family: I have taught at Stern for several years and though I never met or had the pleasure of teaching your daughter many of my students have spoken to me of how much love and joy your daughter gave to them here at Stern. Many of them spoke of her infectious smile and her beautiful spirit. I wish you peace and healing during this most difficult time.

I used to see Julia in the hallway of stern and I always loved her smile, I wanted to know her better, she seemed so nice and she was.

I met Faith Redlich on Sunday at HSL, who told me about the loss of her daughter's friend in a train accident.  I feel sadness for your loss even though I don't know your family. May Hashem give you strength as you grieve.

Julia's infectious, contagious smile will forever be ingrained in my mine. She has inspired me to be a kinder person, and to live life to the fullest. She was always kind to everyone, and she made the most of every moment. I'm so happy I had the privilege of knowing her. She has truly made a mark on me and so many others.
