

Justin Duncan, 92, of Brookine, MA and Delray Beach, FL, passed away on Feb. 4 surrounded by the everlasting love of his family. Born to Bella and Bernard Schreiber in Bucharest, Romania, he lived most of his life in Brookline after emigrating from Romania to the U.S. in 1964.
Justin obtained his Bachelor’s Degree (equivalent) in Textile Engineering in Romania, followed by a Master’s Degree in Engineering from Northeastern University. Justin was a Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) and had a distinguished 40+ year engineering career working at some of the largest engineering firms in Boston.
Justin is survived by his loving wife, Susan Duncan (Gaffen Rodman), his adored twin children: son David Duncan (Cheryl Alkon) of Natick, and daughter Ruth Weiner (Brian) of Westborough, and four cherished grandchildren: Andrew and Joshua Weiner, and Ethan and Hannah Duncan. He is also survived by three stepchildren: Steven Rodman (Jenny) of Wellington, FL, Brian Rodman (Kara Keenan) of West Roxbury, MA, and Kevin Rodman (Clara) of Royal Palm Beach, FL. He was beloved Papa Justin to 7 step grandchildren: Kailyn, Sophia, Richard, Caroline, Charlotte, Kevin, and Amalie Rodman.
Justin was pre-deceased by granddaughters Kaylin Brooke Weiner and Julia Heather Rodman.
Memorial service will be held at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 1668 Beacon St., Brookline on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at 11:30 AM, followed by interment and then visitation hours at his late Brookline residence.
