Leon Proshan of Newton, formally of Brooklyn NY, and a WWII veteran, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 7, 20l6 in his 100th year. Beloved husband of Mildred (Babe) Kravitz Proshan with whom he has shared 70 years of marriage. Devoted father of Bonnie Ginsberg & Al of Tappan NY, Chet Proshan & Reiko of Tokyo Japan, and Carey Gottlieb & Larry of Newton. Loving grandfather of Seth, Oren and Trista Ginsberg, Hanna Proshan and Alana and Mariel Gottlieb. Dear brother of the late Ruth Rose, Harold Proshan and Janet Feingold. Special appreciation to Shawn Linton, devoted companion and care giver. At the request of the family, services will be private. A memorial observance will be held on Thursday evening at the family home beginning at 6 pm. Donations may be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Leon.
