A celebration of life service will be held at noon, Tuesday, May 29th at 776 Baker St., West Roxbury, MA, 02132.
Lev was born January 6, 1935 in Odessa, Ukraine to Hunan and Riva Deresh. He graduated in 1957 from Vilnius State University. In 1959 he married the former Alexandra Shur in Vilnius, Lithuania. Lev was an accomplished chemist, with multiple publications and patents. He enjoyed to work and only retired a few years prior to his passing. He was an avid fisherman and he loved to watch soccer. He spent most of his weekends on the water fishing or chatting with his friends, all over the world. He also enjoyed reading, gymnastics and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Lev is survived by his wife Alexandra of Hooksett, NH, daughter Irina and her husband Arkadiy, son Dan and his wife Megan, four grandchildren David, Dina, Max and Courtney several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Riva and Hunan.
