

Linda F. (Duchin) Clark, 82, of Osterville MA, formerly of New York City and Newton MA passed away peacefully on September 1st, 2026, after battling an extended illness.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Ralph & Eunice (Bloom) Duchin. She is survived by her daughter Isabelle Clark of Osterville & her partner Patrick of Dennis.
Linda is also survived by her brother David Stein & his wife Marilyn of Needham; their children Stephen & his wife Jenifer Stein of Westwood and Deborah & her husband Andrew Courier of Mansfield. She was predeceased by her brother Abner Stein of London, England. Additional survivors include Abner's children Jessica Bailey and Arabella Uranga, as well as many loving grandnieces and grandnephews, colleagues and friends.
She cared deeply for her parents, Eunice & Ralph, and devoted much of her life to them, sharing many family dinners, holidays and travel.
Linda had a fulfilling career as a literary scout, a profession that allowed her to be surrounded by the world she loved - books, authors and stories. Her passion for literature was something shared with her brother Abner and their love of books was a meaningful connection between them.
She also enjoyed her visits to New Seabury with family and had such fond memories of Cape Cod, eventually retiring there.
Those who knew her will carry their own memories of her - the conversations, the chapters of the books, and the laughter.
A graveside service will be held at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon on Friday, September 4 at 11:45am, attendees should arrive no later than 11:30am.
