

Ludmilla V. (Drexler) Lifson, of Natick, formerly of Swampscott, on Friday, August 4, 2017 at age 72. For 50 years the beloved wife of Jacob. Devoted mother of Alex and his wife Jacqueline, and loving grandmother of Eric, David, and Robert. Dear sister of Sophia Herman and her husband Michael. While her family was always the most important thing in her life, her other passion was music. For over 65 years, she touched many,many lives as a highly acclaimed pianist and teacher who performed throughout the world and taught at the Saint Petersburg Conservatory and the Longy School of Music. Services at Temple B’nai Torah, 225 Boston Post Road, Sudbury at 11am on Monday, August 7. Interment at Beit Olam East Cemetery, 42 Concord Road, Wayland. Memorial observance following the burial at the home of her son and his family (until 4pm), and continuing at her late residence in Natick on Tuesday and Wednesday 1-4 pm and on Thursday 5-8 pm.
