Manuel White, of Chestnut Hill, age 101, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 16, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Gertrude A. (Solar). Loving father of Adele & Martin Miller of South Easton, and Barbara Arnold & Christopher Meli of Chestnut Hill. Adored grandfather of Lisa & Mark Vinocoor, Tracy (Arnold) & Will Varrell, Howard & Mollie Miller, Lauren (Arnold) & Tim Whitman, and Melissa (Arnold) & Eric Evans. Beloved great-grandfather of eight. Dear brother of the late Aaron White and his surviving wife Edith, and the late Norma & George Fine. Cherished former father-in-law of Michael Arnold and devoted uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. He spent his career as Personnel Director with the United States Civil Service Commission. Graveside services at the Pride of Lynn Cemetery, Lakeshore Rd., Lynn on Sunday, April 20 at 11 am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the family at the home of Barbara Arnold following the service, 1:30-9 pm.
