Born in Moskow, Russia, he was the son of the late Khanan and Gita (Vikhman) Lavy. He worked for many years in Russia as a Telecommunications Engineer.
He was the devoted father of Andrey Lavy & his wife Galina of Waltham. Loving brother of Raisa Fomichova of Allston and Maria Kharina of Boston. Cherished grandfather of Natalia Lavy and Michael Lavy of Waltham.
Funeral services will take place on Tuesday May 15, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at the Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 1668 Beacon Street, Brookline and will be officated by Rabbi Judith Kummer. Interment will be private.
