Marc Eliezer Samuels

Rabbi Marc Eliezer (Lokiec) Samuels, of Brookline, formerly of Mansfield Center, CT, Survivor of the Holocaust. For 60 years the beloved husband of Carol (Marks). Devoted father of Steven Samuels, Jonathan Samuels, David Samuels & his wife Suzanne, Deborah Samuels-Peretz & her husband Moshe Peretz. Loving grandfather of Rebecca and Benjamin Samuels, Avichai and Maayan Peretz. Rabbi Samuels was predeceased by his brother Moshe Lokiec of Israel. His parents, Shmuel & Dvora (Wertheim) Lokiec along with his siblings, Haya, Jona, Miriam, Bluma, and Hanna Rivka were all murdered by the Nazis in the Holocaust. Services at the Levine Chapels, 470 Harvard Street, Brookline on Thursday, October 19 at 10:30am. Burial at Or Emet Cemetery, 776 Baker Street, West Roxbury. Shiva at David & Suzanne’s home on Thursday l-4pm & 7-9pm, continuing on Friday 1:00-4:00pm, and Sunday 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm.
