Deepest condolences to the Cooper family,

Marilyn was always such a sweet, loving person.  I will miss our phone calls which always made me smile.  I know that if I ever needed anything she wouldn't hesitate to help me out.

I feel fortunate to have spent a lot of one on one time with Marilyn during last summer when we spent numerous hours on the phone (till late at night sometimes) going over administrative matters at first......but within some time, our conversations quickly turned into in-depth discussions of all popular topics of the day.  Talking to Marilyn was like reading a history book at times.  She experienced so much during her life.  Her passing was a shock, since I was recently looking forward to talking to her again.  I will truly miss the many conversations that I had planned to have with her in the future .  I will especially miss hearing her honest opinions on things happening in the world and on how to best address them.  Rest in peace Marilyn and my condolences to the Cooper family.

I regret not having met Marilyn while she was at HUD OIG and am inspired by her legacy. Her colleagues have shared so many warm memories of her positive attitude and beautiful personality. What a huge loss her passing must feel like to her family and friends. I send my sincerest condolences. 

I will always remember how welcome Marilyn made me feel when I first started with HUDOIG.  She was so kind and sweet and killed me with her Boston accent!  It was very easy for a quick phone call to turn into a long conversation.  She was always willing to take time to help others and will be missed.  My deepest sympathies to her family and may she rest in peace.

My deepest condolences to you and your family. Marilyn was a wonderful co-worker and friend. I will miss our phone calls that always ended in laughter and a positive quote. I am forever grateful to have known and worked with her. She will be deeply missed. 

I did not get to meet Marilyn but I wanted to post a message anyway because we, at HUD OIG, value our co-workers just that much.  I wish Marilyn a quiet rest and those who loved her all the best.

I will always remember Marilyn's positive attitude and infectious laugh.  Whenever she would receive a task, she always had a “can do” spirit and would respond by saying “you betcha" in her distinctive Bostonian sort of way.  She will be missed.

Marilyn was the best of the best. She was one of the most honest, hard working and dedicated friends that I ever had the pleasure to work alongside at HUDOIG. I can still envision the picture of you both encapsulated by the Sumo wrestler in Japan. I remember her excitement in the Faneuil Hall farmers market the day she got 6 cucumbers for $1. So frugal; and so kind, she leaves an indelible influence in my mind.
