Mark was a genius software engineer and instrumental in inventing the first Cat Scan Imaging software at Massachusetts General Hospital Research Labs, while in his twenties. Millions of lives, and counting, are owed to this pioneering medical milestone.
Mark’s philanthropic generosity was funded by a succession of successful companies he founded and by Stock and Futures re-investment.
Mark was deeply loved and respected for his kindness, moral rectitude, and dedication to human advancement. He fought tirelessly for a Constitutional Resurrection in the USA. Mark earned his Black Belt in Akido. He trained and instructed for four decades at the New England Aikikai.
His final decade focused on pioneering genetic research of monoclonal antibodies. Mark chose himself to be the first patient. Results were impressive, and extended his life for years. The refinement of his second medical breakthrough will save many more lives. Mark continues to posthumously fund this emerging medical “Miracle”.
Mark will be buried with his beloved and equally accomplished parents, Sumner J. & Rhoda L. (Miller) Abrams.
Mark is survived by his unusually gifted, inseparably devoted and treasured brother James Abrams of Jamaica Plain.
