Dear Marty,
I cannot believe you are no more . I owe you a lot as I'm all what I'm today because of you and how you moulded me . I first met you in 1976 while working in a factory in India when you , Mr Lex Wexner and Ms Carol White along with Mr Vinnie Agarwal came to visit the fty . Then I joined your team in Mast India in 1978 when I was 26 and then you brought me to Sri Lanka in 1979 to start the Mast operations here . You backed me and gave me unconditional support when I was faced with many uphill start up challenges , sometimes fearing that you may even fire me ! Then  came the break throughs,  things started to work out finally , Synotex came into being in 1981, first Bonded ware house in SL 1982, LM Apparels 1984/85 , Unichella 1985/86 . I could not hv made it all happen without your unrelenting support to me and the vision you had for this Country. Though I left you in 1988 I still look back with a lot of pride , as the saying goes - pain past is pleasure , to what you achieved here by putting this Country on the world map for sourcing best quality niche garments , giving employment to thousands of people here and creating two world class Companies - Brandix and MAS ,  with the two joint venture partners, Mr Ashrof Omar and Mr Mahesh Amalean, that I introduced to you and you accepted and grew with them . Though you hv now gone, this Country will be forever indebted to you . Now you deserve to rest in peace . May you attain Nirvana . 

My heart felt condolences and sympathies goes to Diane , whom I hv met on several occasions during your visits here with her and during my trips to the US , Laura, David and the rest of the family .

Dear Mrs. Trust. 
Martin and you were a couple that we could look up to. 

I will remember Marty as an inspiring leader who trusted his friends and associates. 

I remember walking down the stairs of old Unichela when we wanted to move to Panadura and Mahesh proposed it. All he had to say to you was trust Mahesh he must have a good reason to do it. This was 1995. 

My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. 

Let eternal rest be granted to him by our god.

Dear Marty, death does not erases the memory of good people like you. I still remember the support and respect you have given me when i was the Managing Director of Unichela which was the first lingerie  project you started in Srilanka in 1987. My condolences to Mrs.Trust whom i have met few times in USA and Srilanka and to his daughter.  Marty you will live in my memory forever. I am very very sad.

Mr Martin Trust you made opportunities for the people of this country, Sri Lanka during a time of war.
When the nation was in a hope less situation.
We passed  on to you all the merits  created.

It is with gratitude I write for his interest and love for Sri Lanka and his involvement and trust in this little island.  He touched many lives and created so many opportunities for the simple man and woman.  Thank you.  It was an honor to have known him. 
My deepest condolences to his family.  Much blessings 

It is with sadness I hear of this, I have nothing but fond memories of my Uncle. I remember him playing Monopoly with us as kids on Thanksgiving in New Hampshire one year it was quite the time. To those affected my heart goes out to you.
