Maxwell “Sonny” Gates, of Boston and Scottsdale, AZ passed away on June 12, 2026.
He was the loving husband to Linda Gates and father to Lesley & Daryn McCulley, Doug Gates & Kal Singh, and Todd & Tammy Gates. Loving grandfather to Braydon and Avery Gates. Beloved brother of the late Renee Braff and Johnnie Wolfson. He also leaves his stepchildren whom he loved dearly; Michael & Ruth Fletcher and Faith & Howard Segal and their children, Alex, Noah, and Max Fletcher and Zachary Segal.
Graveside services at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham St., Sharon on Tuesday, June 16 at 11:45am.
