Melvin M. Cerier of Dedham, formerly of Newton Centre on Monday, April 1, 2013. For 58 years, he was the beloved husband of Miriam “Mimi” (Bloom). Loving father of Andrew Cerier and his husband Paul Morganthall, Jeffrey Cerier and his wife Laura, and Amy Cerier Tyre and her husband Daniel. Adored grandfather of Elizabeth, Thomas, Rena, & William Cerier, Eli & Sally Tyre. Dear brother of Ellen Buzanoski and the late Dr. William Cerier. Services at Congregation Mishkan Tefila, 300 Hammond Pond Pkwy., Chestnut Hill on Thursday, April 4 at 11:00am. Burial in Mishkan Tefila Memorial Park, 2619 Centre St., West Roxbury. Following the burial memorial observance will be at NewBridge on the Charles 1:30-3:30pm, and continuing from 6-8pm, and then on Friday from 2-4pm.
