Miriam Simen

SIMEN – Miriam (Haase) of Newton entered into rest on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Max Simen who shared 70 years together. Devoted mother of Judith Simen of Newton, David Simen and his wife Margaret of Highland Park, NJ. Cherished grandmother of Yossi Simen and his wife Chavivah and Dov Simen and his wife Tamar, and great-grandmother of Eliezer and Genevieve. Adored aunt of many nieces and nephews. Loving sister of the late Frances Kaye. Services will be held at Stanetsky Memorial Chapels, 1668 Beacon Street, Brookline on Friday, July 7 at 10:30AM. Interment to follow at Lindwood Memorial Park, Temple Emanuel Section, 490 North Street, Randolph. Memorial observance will be immediately following interment at her late residence, continuing on Saturday evening from 7 to 9 PM, and Sunday from 8 AM for a Minyan to 12 Noon and from 1:30 to 6 PM. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Miriam’s memory may be made to the Max Simen Memorial Fund at Hadassah Hospital headquarters in New York.
