Dear Wendy and Family: I was saddened to learn of Morris Levy's passing -- he was such an upstanding individual, a true friend, and valued mentor during the more than ten years I had the good fortune to work with and for him from September 1989 through April 2002. When I needed a job after the Hiawatha LRT project I was managing in Minneapolis was suddenly terminated, Morris, without hesitation invited me back to work for PB in Boston. He was always so supportive of me and helpful to my career aspirations. I want to express my deepest sympathy on his passing. I am so grateful to have known this inspiring man

Dear Morris and Wendy and Family
Morris hired me and gave me a chance on April 1986 and the reason I stayed so long with the company is thanks to him, his mentorship, leadership, higher intelligence, personal attention and friendship and so much more. I would have resigned long ago if it weren't for him. So many good memories to share that I could write a book, but the last one that will stay with me forever is when we had breakfast together at Friendly's two years ago in Concord and chatted for a while about everything, his mind still sharp as an arrow and him quizzing me on project details that I had even forgotten. May you rest in peace my friend until we meet again in a better place.

I was fortunate to have worked for Morris during the construction of the Central Artery. His gentle humor, kindness and support of staff was integral to his management of major engineering projects in New England. I have thought of him often over the years and the wisdom he imparted to the many engineers he mentored will live on for generations.

Have heard that Mr. Levy was a tough business man but a gentle mentor. Had the privilege of working for him under a Center of Technical Excellence and appreciated his commitment to technical excellence. We do not have mentors and bosses like him anymore. May he Rest In Peace knowing he left this planet better than what he inherited. Please accept our heartfelt condolences.
