Muriel “Mickey” Hoberman, of Chestnut Hill, MA on January 19, 2022. For 54 glorious years the beloved and cherished wife of Sumner “Sonny” Hoberman and devoted and wonderful Mom to Andrew Hoberman
of Watertown, MA. Loving sister of the late Arlene Tisner and her husband the late Irving Tisner of Chesnut Hill, MA. Adored Sister-In-Law of Toby and Judy Hoberman of Needham, MA, Miriam Brandes of Dedham, MA and the late Merton Brandes and the late Eddie and Shirley Harsfield. She also leaves many nieces and nephews who loved their Aunt dearly and so many close friends over the years.
Born in Boston and raised in Mattapan, Mickey attended Fisher College in Boston and in her younger
years worked as a Medical Secretary at Boston Children’s Hospital. She loved to bake and took great pride in cooking for the Jewish holidays, going on cruises to Alaska and the Caribbean with her husband and friends, summer trips to Nantasket Beach and Cape Cod, going out to her favorite restaurants with close friends and active in many local charitable foundations. She will forever be missed and always in our hearts.
Graveside services to be held Sunday, January 23, 2022 at 12 Noon, Roxbury Lodge Cemetery, 776 Baker St, West Roxbury.
In lieu of a Shiva a celebration of Mickey’s phenomenal life will be held at a later date.
