Murray Staub

Our 100-year-old Dad, Murray Staub, passed away on Saturday, March 7th. He had recently observed the yahrzeit of his beloved wife, Rhoda Staub. His death was not unexpected, but was still difficult to see him go. We loved the feisty, zestful, loving Murray Staub.

He credited his wife Rhoda for teaching him how to be social, and she apparently did a great job, as he was loved by so many. We will be posting a more detailed obituary soon, but wanted to get this news out into the world today.

We want to thank all of you who have loved and supported him especially in the years since his treasured Rhoda passed away.

Murray was the beloved son of Louis and Tillie Staub. Devoted Husband of the late, Rhoda Staub, who is dearly missed. Leaving behind his children Marjorie Staub (Art Newberg), Janet Staub (James DeLong), and Michael Staub (Robin Ratcliff). Cherished grandfather of Jenny Shoukimas (Alexis Hawkins), Sarah Ryan (Michael Ryan), Daniel Shoukimas, Kaila Tang, Leah Staub-DeLong, William Staub, and Peter Staub. Loved great-grandfather of Jane Hawkins, Max Hawkins, Caroline Ryan, Jack Ryan, Luis Tang.

Funeral will be held at the Sharon Memorial Park Chapel, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon, on Wednesday, March 11th at 1:00 pm. Shiva will follow the funeral from 4-6pm at Newbridge on the Charles, 5000 Great Meadow Road Dedham, and will continue Thursday, March 12th at the home of Marjorie, from 4:00-6:30 pm.
