Myrna Titelbaum of Randolph passed away peacefully on September 17, 2026, at 87 years of age. Devoted daughter of the late Harry & Henrietta (Shulman) Titelbaum. Dear sister of Sabina Sowsy, and sister-in-law of the late Paul Sowsy. Loving aunt of Karen Sowsy, Michael Sowsy, and David Sowsy. Cherished great-aunt of Justin LeFebvre and Courtney Sims, and Benjamin LeFebvre and Makayla (Harding) LeFebvre. Adored great-great-aunt of Nathan LeFebvre and Lucas LeFebvre.
Myrna grew up in Dorchester and graduated from Roxbury Memorial High School. She attended and graduated from Boston University.
In her 20’s Myrna lived and worked in San Francisco. She later worked for the Gillette Company, became the Administrative Assistant to the President of Melville Corporation, and for a time she was an outside Sales Representative of greeting cards.
Having dozens of cousins over generations, Myrna valued family most of all. She also loved and considered her friends and neighbors, and their children, as her extended family.
Myrna was a wordsmith, learned calligraphy, and possessed the most beautiful penmanship which she used to create family and friends’ invitations. Myrna enjoyed spending hours in greeting card stores, looking for cards to inspire others toward excellence, into which she added her own motivating notes. She got much joy in sending and receiving thoughtful and hand-written thank you notes.
Donations to, and working with, charities meant a great deal to Myrna. For several years she was involved in the Pie in the Sky program to provide medically tailored meals to people in Massachusetts and Rhode Island living with critical or chronic illnesses including HIV.
Myrna enjoyed traveling, especially for family occasions, to the theatre, to Boston Pops concerts, and to Tanglewood.
In her 60’s Myrna joined a Hebrew class at Temple Beth David, and later became a Bat Mitzvah.
Myrna was the caregiver of the family, spending many decades caring for her mother, father, her Aunt Mollie and her Uncle Jerry.
