

Of Manchester, NH, formerly of Chestnut Hill, MA and Albany, NY, on Sunday, April 16, 2023, at age 76. For 57 years the beloved wife of Dr. Morris Steinbock. Loving mother of Dana Schiff & her husband, David and Lea Themea & her husband, Neil. Fond sister of the late Arlene Parker and her surviving husband, George. Cherished grandmother of Harrison Schiff and Arielle, Julia and Madelyn Kamen.
Nancy attended Newton South High School, graduating in 1964, then attended Boston University and the College of Saint Rose completing her Master's degree in Communications. In 1972, Nancy spearheaded the George McGovern political campaign in Albany County. She also worked as her husband Morris' office manager for a number of years. Later, in the 1980's she began a business, Nancy Steinbock Posters. Her business consisted of the buying and selling of authentic, antique, vintage advertising posters from the 1800's through the 1960's. She had a special place in her heart for posters that featured children.
Services will be at the Levine Chapels, 470 Harvard Street, Brookline, MA on Wednesday, April 19 at 1:00pm. Interment at the Bessarabian Cemetery, 232 Fuller Street, Everett.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Southern Poverty Law Center, The Holocaust Museum, or the St. Joseph's Indian School.
